Finished concrete driveway and sidewalk at a Southwest Missouri home

Driveways · Southwest Missouri

Concrete driveways planned for the property—not just the parking space.

A driveway carries daily traffic and shapes the first impression of the property. Cleveland Concrete plans the approach, vehicle use, drainage, transitions and site access before recommending the build.

What we handle

A clear scope for the work.

Every estimate begins with the site. We review the intended use, existing conditions and access before defining preparation, dimensions and finish.

01

New installations

Plan a driveway for a new home, shop or property improvement with dimensions and access based on how the space will be used.

02

Replacement driveways

Review the existing surface, removal needs, base conditions and connections before the replacement is formed and poured.

03

Extensions and parking

Add usable width or parking space while accounting for the existing drive, property layout and water flow.

Built for the site

What we consider before concrete arrives.

Good concrete work begins below and around the visible surface. The exact recommendation depends on what we find at the property.

  • Vehicle types and expected traffic
  • Subgrade and compacted base conditions
  • Slope, runoff and garage transitions
  • Approach, parking and turnaround layout
  • Joint placement and reinforcement needs
  • Crew and concrete-truck access

Questions homeowners ask

Before the estimate

These answers are a practical starting point. The property and intended use determine the final recommendation.

How thick should a concrete driveway be?

Four inches is a common residential starting point, but it is not the right answer for every project. Vehicle weight, base conditions, drainage, reinforcement and local requirements should be considered before the specification is set.

Do you remove the old driveway?

Removal can be included when the existing surface needs to come out. We review the material, access and disposal needs while defining the project scope.

Can you extend an existing concrete driveway?

Often, yes. The existing elevation, drainage, property layout and connection between old and new concrete all need to be reviewed first.

When can I drive on the new concrete?

The timing depends on the mix, weather and project conditions. We provide project-specific curing and traffic instructions after the pour; do not rely on a one-size-fits-all timeline.
